Sage Oats: Bio
Sage Oats is a singer-songwriter based in the Sunshine Coast who explores philosophies of the human experience through his singing. He has played alongside Katie Noonan and performed at the Woodford Folk Festival in 2024. Last year he wrote his first album of original music, titled “Ignited.” His sound draws on influences of folk, soul, and experimental acoustic music, yet stands out as something completely new.
Nico – Flash Poetry
Nico aka Flash Poetry is a local freestyle sensation, guitarist, TEDx performer and the author of the poetry collection ‘The Silent World That Won’t Stop Talking’. Harnessing the power of poetry, storytelling and freestyle rap, he takes audiences on spontaneous, immersive lyrical adventures informed by crowd suggestions and whatever is most alive in the moment. Whether it’s engaging kids with playful freestyles about their favourite animals, sparking laughter with crowd suggestions, or offering thoughtful moments for adults, Flash Poetry brings something that both entertains, inspires and uplifts. Through a unique blend of rhythm, philosophy & wordplay, the full-time writer turned ‘Philosorapper’ brings the vibe with his guitar playing and showcases the mind-bending magic of live improvisation and the flow state.
