Warburton Valley Market 5th November 2023

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday 5th November 11am-3pm for The Warburton Valley Market.

As Spring heads into Summer, it is going to be a glorious day along the Birrarung as we enjoy the natural beauty of Warburton in the Yarra Valley.

We have an amazing line up this month with three fantastic local bands; Lothlorien, Follow the Robin and The Constellations.

Lothlorien:

90s festival Afro Celtic Folk Funk Trio Lothlorien are in re-formation again after a long hiatus.

With Nic Morrey on 12 string and vocals, Michael Arvanitakis on double bass and cello and Roderick McLeod on kora, hand pan and percussion this trio will give a taste of their world music folk fusion.

Follow the Robin:

Follow The Robin is a singer/songwriter weaving stories, poetry and

metaphorical images into her Folk and Indie songs.

Creating music filled with wonder, Follow The Robin transports listeners to an ethereal plane.

Performing regularly since 2020, Follow The Robin has opened for artists such as Little Green and Steve Baker and The LiveWires (in Germany) as well as doing several solo performances.

A finalist in the 2023 AFMA’s, Follow The Robin continues to create new music daily with the hopes of releasing a debut album in 2024!

The Constellations:

The Constellations are a four-piece band from Healesville High School that have been a jewel in the crown of this year’s school music concerts.

The band has been a vehicle for the VCE music exams of guitarist Grace Howie, and features Grace Hodgson on drums, Erica Wiggans on bass and special guest Mannix McGovern on soaring vocals. The band’s repertoire is an eclectic mix of rock, funk, beautifully fingerpicked acoustic ballads and jazz.

Groove to the tunes this Sunday while you shop for artisan products, enjoy the sunshine, and perhaps get crafty yourself…
